CRACS - Live Remote Access Inspection
This is a real-time inspection system which has been developed to eliminate the need for site paperwork whilst allowing easy access to inspection results online. This has proved invaluable in relation to both TMA and NRSWA inspections where rapid response or issue verification is required. Each inspection generates a unique reference number and digital signature which will verify time, date, and operative along with providing multiple imaging and GPS co-ordinates. The system is also used for QA audits where the customer may require real-time evidence of performance criteria.
All information is screened prior to live publishing and ensures total security of the system. Submitted inspections can printed from a secure site when logged in.
Engineering surveys where clients may require information from existing ground or site conditions such as road re-construction, made up ground, imported materials, and modified backfills can be inspected and uploaded with support from penetrometer or laboratory testing services.
This system has also proved to be invaluable when used by personnel involved in PPO or asset protection, where evidence of potential or actual damage can be relayed to the relevant department. As each inspection is accompanied by digital imaging, the remedial action can be proposed remotely.GPS network mapping has also utilised this system as it supplies a visual representation of each asset which can be provided to field operatives for location purposes. This is especially relevant to requirements of the Traffic Management Act as such information can be entered to asset plans, drawings, and Notice/Permit closure.
