Corehard has been involved in developing a software program for use with hand held devices in the field which will allow remote visibility of site inspection results from any web based computer. Each inspection includes a digital signature and image along with generating a client unique reference for traceability purposes. PANDA (Penetrometer Testing)

Where material density and compaction values are required we have entered a joint venture with the manufacturer of an electronic pentrometer which will provide accurate results on existing or new ground contitions. This service can be implemented as part of a core extraction and analysis program, or as part of a stand alone pre survey program. We also distrubute, maintain, and provide training for the use of this device.

Laboratory Services

We are a UKAS accredited Laboratory for undertaking extraction and analysis of core samples on bound materials, along with skid resistance and texture depth. One of our approved test procedures is enhanced by inclusion of our own patented device for extremly accurate layer measurement which can provide definitive results at time of extraction where relevant parties are present.

Quality Assurance Audits

We carry out comprehensive quality assurance audits concerning civil engineering, network design and other requirements associated with construction of infrastructure. Qualified personnel compile documents & reports; each ascribed to individual areas of expertise.
Such systems assist in ensuring that all aspects of construction are constantly monitored and reflect a true statement of progress and quality at any given time of the build process.

GPS Mapping

Total network mapping is achieved using Global Positioning System technology which is the most cost effective and accurate way of plotting large areas, when effective equipment is used.

This may be applied as part of a QA program or as a separate exercise. Information is then entered into a database which assists in future planning and maintenance.

This particularly relates to location of plant or infrastructure in rural areas where overgrown vegetation may affect access.

TOTAL NETWORK GPS MAPPING has also proved invaluable where subsequent works have buried or obscured visibility of network chambers.

All coordinates are manually recorded so as to safeguard soft copy and to allow input to any related or updated software.

Plant Protection

Corehard have been involved in extensive monitoring programs with view to asset security and maintenance. This includes patrolling of routes as per prescribed rotas and programs. Interfacing with third party undertakers and contractors where working in proximity of networks. Constant updates for client records with regard to integrity and condition of Network relating to civils and cable issues. Routes are patrolled to aid in ensuring third party damage is less likely to occur on infrastructure.
